The size ranges fit children from early childhood through young adulthood:

The Small - TYKE is ideal for pre-school to elementary aged children; 

The Medium size accommodates the late elementary to early middle school children; 

The Large is recommended for late middle school aged to high school and young adult users.

The XLarge is best if a wider width is needed.
